Has anyone ever said to you…’You’re too much”?

Your thoughts are ‘too much’. Your feelings are ‘too much’.

Have you ever felt blinded by someone’s ‘light’ such as their emotions or their intellect?

In part 1 of this conversation Kevin mentioned that his emotions get caught in his head so Seth asks Kevin to explain that. He said, “When I shove my emotions somewhere else they show up elsewhere as in pain in the body. So I go back to try and find what I didn’t 'Feel' when I had that emotion because instead of feeling the emotion, I replaced that feeling with thoughts. I was able to think myself into a corner that felt safe and logical.”

But has silence ever been ‘too much’? It has been for me! If you were a fan of the old Batman show you’ll remember each week they ended the show with “Don’t touch that dial”. So I’m saying ‘don’t touch that dial’ at the end of this podcast when we sit in a moment of silence. The conclusion is worth the wait!

Resource Info:
I met Seth and Kevin in a professional development course for Certification in Enneagram Applications through Enneagram Georgia facilitated by Nan Henson and Lynda Roberts, Riso-Hudson certified teachers and authorized professionals.

Seth Creekmore: “Creekmore is a cinematic folk artist creating moments to experience the soul. He fancies himself an epicure of all things good and finds himself at home either in a coffee shop or in the middle of a forest always attempting to marry the savage and the suave.”
