Hi ,
We are Greenkode (https://greenkode.net) a hi-tech company based in the UK, Cornwall.
We are working to reduce food waste in the hospitality sector. We are committed to a better sustainable future for all of us by making less food waste. Our podcast focuses on aiming for zero-waste and join us on this journey as we introduce you to environmental organisations, new tech, and green start-ups. In today's Episode 23 Local Sustainability we look at sustainable farms and restaurants utilising their local resources and developing a community of sustainability at the University of Falmouth.
We chat with:
Jake Causley - the Falmouth sustainability coordinator talks us through the University's sustainability policy and how students can contribute to the effort
Jeffrey Robinson - owner and executive chef of the New Yard Restaurant where sustainability and growing their food are an important part of their ecosystem
Polly Bowles - the Coombeshead Farm Manager talks to us about how their working farm contributes to a self-sufficient restaurant and guest house
Our next podcast will air in 2 weeks time on the 19th of April, please join us then. We appreciate any donations for the update of the podcast. Thank you for your support. https://www.patreon.com/greenkode
