For the 4th time since the pandemic started, Taylor Swift announced a new release of music, this one scheduled for tomorrow. Unlike her 2 albums released last year, the release of her single "You All Over Me" is not new music, but instead a song from her vault of music she recorded years ago. Its release, like the forthcoming release of her remade "Fearless" album is less about putting new music out and more about a celebrity feud between her and the man who owned the original master recordings of her songs. Tonight, we look at this fight and ask whether fans need to have new versions of songs they already have, just because Taylor says so. Then we are joined by Opera singer turned podcast host, Melina Schein, to talk about how the pandemic forced her off the stage and into the podcast world, with her show, Saucy Talk. Finally, because Taylor Swift wants us to accept her new versions of her old songs as the definitive version, we close the show listening to several popular songs we all know and then listening to the original version to decide which is the definitive version.
