First of all I want to apologize for not being able to remain consistent for the last couple of weeks with the podcast, that is because I was extremely busy setting up systems and workflows for my restaurant Marketing Agency TasteBud Solutions.

I have really been working hard for the last two and half years to learn marketing and understand how to make digital marketing and advertising work for restaurants.
And after almost 3 years of hustling and working for other businesses and entrepreneurs, I have finally made some progress. My agency is up and running with clients.
That’s the reason I have been a bit quiet for the last couple of weeks, I hope you people would understand, excuse the absence.

However, besides working on my agency I have also doing a diploma in viral marketing with shaw academy. I was casually browsing through the store of Entrepreneur.com and I found shaw academy was offering the viral marketing diploma for free. And I found no reason not to join.

So, as I go through this diploma, I plan to share the knowledge with you all as I believe it’s still a mystery to many entrepreneurs to how to make something go viral.
I have gone through the first week already and learned a few very important things which should be kept in mind while creating a content if you plan to make it go viral. For example; How to make the story telling of the content effective. For that you need to know who you are telling your stories to, and what story would they be interested in. There are many tools such as SEMrush, Ubersuggest and buzzsumo to research your target audience and to figure out what sort of content goes viral among them, and then create a tailored content specifically for them.

The diploma is a 4 week course with 2 classes per week, and as I go through the diploma I will bring all the information for you all over here in the future episodes.
But I would also encourage all the aspiring entrepreneurs to go through this course and also there is a viral marketing course offered by FIverr right now, which is around $80 bucks and I think it is worth it.

Before I end this episode, I want to leave you business junkies with one tip about viral marketing. If you want to make a piece of viral content, do not think like an individual, do not think like a business, rather, think like a magazine.
Magazines are in the business of promotion and if you can replicate their structure and the way they market their content, you have a high chance to make it work for you too, don’t you think?
