Ane Uriarte is a diploma holder of the European College in Veterinary Neurology (ECVN). She started her studies in Spain but graduated as a veterinarian in Paris, where she did her general internship and neurology residency.

After obtaining her ECVN diploma, she worked for 8 years in a private hospital on the outskirts of London before she moved to Massachusetts in 2017, where she was an assistant professor in neurology and Neurosurgery at Tufts University. During her stay in the United States, Uriarte created the free iOS and Android app called My dog's epilepsy accessible to all owners and veterinarians. She has recently returned to London where she is the head of the Neurology service at Southfields veterinary specialist.

Uriarte has published numerous articles in international journals, as well as neurosurgery chapters in reference books. She is constantly teaching in the form of webinars, congresses, and social media. She posts daily neurology cases on instagram, youtube, and facebook on @ane.neuro.
