The Sober Lens Podcast Episode 20 - a podcast by Jim

For episode 20, we dug deep to bring you another amazing guest on the podcast. Mr. Jay Lass. Jay hails from North Carolina and is the founder/owner of the Facebook/Instagram group Dads-With-Sons. When Jim got sober, he leaned on Jay and his new group a lot. He wanted to be as present as possible for his wife and son. While they aren't exclusively a "sober group" Dads-With-Sons provided a place where Jim could vent around people who were going through various things. The group is an outlet and provides advice for Dads (and expecting Dads) across the globe. Jay has stated he started the group so Dads would have a place to turn for advice and friendship to bond with other Dads that were expecting sons. The group is global and there are many types of cultures, faces and scenarios that make up the word Dad. What I love about the group is it's not one-dimensional. I consider Jay a great friend and this was a really fun episode to record. Even though my co-host Joe was blessed with a daughter, I know he was able to gain something from our talk as well.
