Jacob Weaver: Entrepreneurship is the most incredible career path in business. However, it is difficult and a lot of people fail because they aren't educated in business. In this interview, Jacob Weaver, CEO at Nautix Labs, shares his story and provides incredible entrepreneurship education.

Jacob grew up as the oldest of 5 to parents who were missionaries. He had the opportunity to travel the world while he was growing up and experience various cultures. He spent time in China, Japan, Portugal, New Zealand, and various other places. This gave him a taste for new experiences. As an entrepreneur, you often have the opportunity to travel and have these experiences while maintaining your business.

Creativity is an important characteristic for an entrepreneur. While it often comes naturally to the entrepreneur, creativity must be cultivated. You have to think outside the box to find solutions and grow into areas that have never been tried. Jacob likes to pain and finds that it is important to have a creative outlet outside of his business. He often finds solutions to his business problems while painting because he is creating in a different way.

Education and continuous learning is essential to success as an entrepreneur. While formal education and going to college isn't for everyone, learning and growing has to be. Jacob went to college and sees it mostly as wasted time and money. He learned how to think critically about things, but doesn't see much more benefit in his years of school. But he does learn every day. It takes effort and discipline to continue learning in this way, but it is very important to stay up on the latest trends. Finding a mentor is important to help you stay on track and continue growing. These relationships are valuable to long-term success as an entrepreneur.
