Influencer and content creator Serena Kerrigan changed the TV landscape during the global pandemic by creating the first ever Instagram Live reality show, Let’s F*cking Date. The show, now in its third season, streams Serena’s virtual blind dates to her audience of 300k+ followers and has amassed over 5 million views. What started as a way for a single 26-year-old to connect with and entertain her followers in quarantine, was immediately dubbed by The Today Show as “Quarantine’s New Must-Watch.” Let’s F*cking Date became an immediate sensation, as Serena disrupted the status quo by normalizing virtual dating for singles in quarantine. From the get-go, Serena has maintained full creative control over the show and its format. Serena capitalized on the features of the Instagram platform, which allowed her audience to engage in real-time and make live appearances on her aftershow. For Season 2, Serena built her own production team to elevate the series and create high quality, branded content. Numerous brands, including Bumble, Svedka, Bev, and Hint, paid premium rates to become sponsors and integrate their products seamlessly within the show’s ecosystem. Charting her show’s rapid growth, Serena recognized the gap in the market for dating advice tailored to the digital age. To help her fans conquer the world of dating, Serena created the Let’s F*cking Date card game to be enjoyed on first dates, in intimate group settings, and by couples. To date, Serena has sold ten thousand units of the game and plans to release an X-rated version in June 2021. Further motivated by the tight-knit community that she built, Serena launched her own lifestyle company dedicated to empowering women to become the best version of themselves. As part of this initiative, Serena created her proprietary confidence coaching program through which she has coached hundreds of women worldwide, ranging from 14 to 60 years old.
