The son of Filipino immigrants growing up in Seattle, Jay Sueno, was always drawn to the outdoors, but it was discovering surfing at 33 that he credits with really changing his life.  From surfing local breaks to traveling across the world for waves he was disheartened by the trash and plastic pollution he saw when paddling out.   Determined to make a difference he and his co-founder created a compostable bamboo toothbrush that gives back! Asking ”how can we help people do good in the world and feel good?" Mama P goes beyond your normal sustainable brand, they’re rooted in intersectional activism with a team that’s 60% female and 80% POC and supporting causes from saving the ocean LQTBQ rights, saving the bees, mental health, and women’s rights, Mama P is truly an activist brand!
