Beckie Irvin is the founder and director of Grit Fest,  a 3-day event in Fayetteville, Arkansas, for womxn (cis & trans) and non-binary mountain bikers where regardless of skill level everyone is welcomed and they truly live their motto #AllBikesWelcome.  

In this episode of the Occupation Wild Podcast Courtney sits down with Beckie to talk about confronting white privilege and heteronormativity in the outdoors, how Beckie lived out of her jeep to get Grit Fest started, the courage it takes to follow your wildest dreams, and all the lessons she learned along the way!
