Gabi Israelsen, is a kind and mature 23 year old, from Alpine, UT.  She was sexually abused by her father who was an LDS bishop at the time of the abuse.  She is currently working towards her master's degree in Social Work at UVU with hopes of becoming a Trauma Therapist. She lost her mom 2 years ago from Lung Cancer which motivated her to start a grief camp for kids called Camp Koah. She also owns a humanitarian company called SAY International. Their mission is to help those living in poverty overcome trauma in order to access the creative part of their minds and ultimately solve their own problems.  They currently work in Fiji, Tanzania, and Peru and run trips every summer!  Her ultimate goal in life is to write a curriculum that can be used in schools around the world to help children learn how to use their minds and problem solve, instead of just filling their minds with information.  She is a young lady on a real mission to change the way we educate children. Her story is delightful and intriguing. Tune in, you’re in for a real treat.  Her mind is well beyond her years.
