• As many Americans travel to shore points for Memorial Day festivities of their own, there are also plenty of local museums to learn a little more about the history of the holiday.


• The Penn Museum is partnering with Forum Philly in celebration of Juneteenth for a special program that encourages Philly students to learn and then teach their community about the significance of the holiday.


• Students at Frankford High School continue to learn virtually while the school district works to clear damaged asbestos from their building. The district hasn't been able to find a suitable place for in-person learning.


• It’s been almost a month since the Philadelphia Parking Authority launched its new bicycle lane enforcement unit to patrol and enforce bike lane regulations in selected city neighborhoods. A political action committee is applauding the effort but would like to see the city do more to keep the public safe.
