• Fire crews are investigating the cause of a fire in Kensington that destroyed a warehouse building that housed three small local businesses on Monday afternoon.


• Thousands of Philadelphia students are back in school for summer enrichment classes, which started Monday.


• This is your last chance to get certified as a Philadelphia lifeguard this summer.  Parks and Recreation is holding a lifeguard certification from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every day this week at Kelly Pool in Fairmount Park. With 61 public pools open this summer, the city needs 50 more lifeguards than it did last summer.


• Robert Bowers was found guilty of killing 11 people in the 2018 Tree of Life Synagogue shooting. Whether he will face the death penalty will now be determined. Prosecutors argue his attack was premeditated, but the defense is disputing his mental health.
