• Mayor Jim Kenney says the city’s newest pilot program will help tens of thousands of low-income Philadelphians use public transportation for free by the end of the year. 


• Police have identified and want to talk to a person of interest in the murder of Philadelphia journalist and activist Josh Kruger. According to police, Kruger was shot seven times inside his home in the Point Breeze neighborhood early Monday morning. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died. He was 39. His tragic death has particularly rocked Philadelphia’s LGBTQ communities.


• Free flu shots were given out today at a health fair for senior citizens in Camden County.
