  • Thousands of people from the Philadelphia region were in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday at a March for Israel rally. Supporters called for all hostages taken by Hamas to be released.

  • Police are working to track down four suspects they say were caught on camera robbing and assaulting a family inside a Philadelphia home. Anyone with information to aid in the investigation is asked to call police.

  • Last July, Philadelphia police were sent to the wrong address for a report of a shooting and, as a result, missed an early warning that might have prevented a mass shooting in Kingsessing. That prompted a hearing in City Council on Tuesday, where it became clear that incident was just one of the problems in the 911 emergency response system. 

  • The U.S. Labor Department says inflation is at its slowest pace in two years. It could be a signal that the Federal Reserve is done raising interest rates, but consumers say they’re still spending far too much on everyday items.
