- A federal jury has found former Philadelphia labor leader John Dougherty guilty of stealing from the union he once led.
- Seven people including an infant, a firefighter and two police officers were taken to the hospital after a fire in Northeast Philadelphia.
- University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill is walking back some of the comments she made earlier this week at a congressional hearing on antisemitism on college campuses.
- Police are asking the public to help them locate a suspect involved in a triple shooting in West Kensington on Wednesday. Authorities say officers found three people shot in their heads around 5 p.m. One of them, 34-year-old Luimi Nunez, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Two other male victims, ages 21 and 61, were also taken to the hospital. They're both said to be in critical condition.
- On this anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Battleship New Jersey hosted a wreath-laying ceremony to remember the men and women who died during the siege.
