In this episode. Nicola takes us through HOW mindfulness supports us “gives us an edge” in EQ, in managing thoughts, and with self-compassion. She also talks about becoming significantly self-aware that in turn helps managing our emotions. She taps into Helpful vs. Unhelpful thoughts in a way where we tend to suppress what we find as uncomfortable ‘negative thoughts’ but does that usually help? Of course not! Nicola suggests Mindfulness to be an effective way where we can simply notice and let these thoughts pass. And finally we also talk about mirror work and self-compassion.
