Welcome back to another episode of The Finance Burrito, your number one place for all things cash money. In this episode (and the next few), Liv and Tom are taking a deep dive into sustainability and ethics when it comes to personal finance.

In the first instalment, our hosts are exploring whether ethical banking and super fund options exist in Australia (spoiler alert: they do) and how we can impact the world with where we choose to stash our cash. They’ll even give a shoutout to a couple of providers who expert sources say are in the ethical good books.

But to help us really get our heads around what it means for a super fund to be ethical, Tom and Liv sit down with Adam Verwey, the co-founder and director of ethical superannuation fund, Future Super. They’ll discuss how the company was founded, some of the barriers preventing the average Aussie from making the switch to an ethical super fund, plus how these options stack up in terms of profit.
