Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by providing an update on his poll and other polls throughout Pennsylvania on the Senate race, telling of a surge by candidate Kathy Barnette and explaining why she’s seen an explosion in popularity, particularly with listeners of 1210WPHT. Then, Giordano tells about a heated argument unfolding in Springfield Township over a new logo produced by the Police Benevolent Association in the town featuring the ‘thin blue line’ flag, with commissioners arguing that the presence of the flag in the logo is racist. Listeners who happened to attend the meeting call in to the show, offering their perspectives on what played out in the meeting that went over time due to the heated nature of the arguments made.

Then, Pennsylvania State Representative Martina White rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss multiple bills she’s fighting for in Harrisburg. First, Giordano asks White about a bill that recently passed through the house hoping to protect Title IX and women’s sports against unfair advantages presented by transgendered athletes after the emergence of UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas. White tells how and why the bill passed through the appropriate outlets, and explains that young biological females need to know that there are lawmakers fighting for their rights to remain. Then, White updates the status of two bills that hope to bring accountability to the Philadelphia DA’s office, updating a bill that would create term limits for officials such as Krasner, and a bill that will extend the capability for AG Josh Shapiro to step in and take control of prosecutions in the city.
