Today, on a very special Veterans Day broadcast, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by reflecting upon yesterday’s fiery cross-examination of Kyle Rittenhouse, an 18-year-old in Kenosha, WI who was charged after killing a protestor during the riots that played out after Jacob Blake’s murder. Giordano plays back clips from the trial, including the admittance by a key witness that Rittenhouse only fired after the witness drew a gun and approached Rittenhouse.  Then, after Giordano gets a tip that Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw may be in consideration for a job in New York City, both debate how one could be considered for such a job after the recent track record here in Philadelphia. Then, due to the occasion, Col. Tom Manion joins the show to explain what Veterans Day means to him. First, Manion and Giordano discuss the significance of today in particular, explaining that for the first time in 20 years, we are celebrating a Veterans Day without an active war. Also, Manion discusses the culmination of his organization centered around his son, Travis, and tells of the relationship he shared with his brothers in arms. (Photo by Sean Krajacic-Pool/Getty Images)
