In today’s third hour, Dom leads off the Dom Giordano Program by circling back to the topic that dominated the first hour, asking whether or not there is ever a time to leave a child alone in a car, after a carjacking yesterday in Germantown in which a 6 year old was kidnapped after being left in a running car by her parent. Dom tells that he would support leaving a child in a locked car, but the mother who left her child in the car unlocked and running should be charged with negligence.

Then, halfway through the hour, Senator Pat Toomey returns to the Dom Giordano Program for his regular monthly check-in, to discuss issues playing out on Capitol Hill. First, Giordano asks Toomey for his thoughts on whether the country should send athletes to Beijing for the upcoming Olympic games. Toomey notes that the situation with China is unlike any we’ve ever seen, and tells the difficulty in determining the best course in moving forward with the situation. Then, Giordano asks Toomey for his opinion on an argument that’s rising on Capitol Hill, being the debate over whether women should be added to the mandatory draft roll. In addition, Toomey dissects the Russia/Ukraine situation, telling whether he believes a potential invasion is Biden’s fault, and tells how he believes Russia should be dealt with.
