Boockvar announced her resignation yesterday after it was revealed that she failed to report a proposed constitutional amendment allowing lawsuits for otherwise outdated child sexual abuse claims, which delays the vote on the referendum by two years. Gov. Wolf’s administration released a statement on the resignation, noting that it was a ‘simple human error’ and apologized, admitting their mistake.
