Rep. Jim Gregory On Boockvar Resignation - a podcast by Radio.com

Representative Jim Gregory of Blair County rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a bill he authored that led to the resignation of Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar. Gregory, along with Senator Lisa Baker and Representative Mark Rozzi, wrote a bill that would give victims of childhood sexual abuse recourse in civil court. Prior to being put before voters in an election, it is a legal necessity to advertise a proposed amendment, which Boockvar failed to do prior to proceeding. Therefore, due to this ‘clerical error’, the authors of the bill have lost two years of work for dedicated Pennsylvanians who survived assault and want to recapture their voice in the courts.
