Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards.First, New Jersey State Senator Holly Schepisi rejoins Readin’ Writin’ and Reason to address claims by Governor Phil Murphy’s camp that Republicans are making something out of nothing after she called attention to new curriculum suggestions by the State that would teach very questionable sexual education topics to young children. Schepisi directly addresses the claims, telling that she has physical evidence and an incredible amount of constituents reaching out with concerns about curriculum that they’ve seen their children endure. Schepisi offers her take on the waffling by the Murphy administration, explaining why she thinks the administration is backtracking on the suggestions even while they try to portray it as a non-issue. Also, Schepisi tells why she was so shocked when she first stumbled upon the material, and explains why she finds it incredibly important to leave topics like these up to parents, up to a certain age.

Then, Pennsylvania State Representative Martina White rejoins the podcast to discuss multiple bills she’s fighting for in Harrisburg. First, Giordano asks White about a bill that recently passed through the house hoping to protect Title IX and women’s sports against unfair advantages presented by transgendered athletes after the emergence of UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas. White tells how and why the bill passed through the appropriate outlets, and explains that young biological females need to know that there are lawmakers fighting for their rights to remain. Then, White updates the status of two bills that hope to bring accountability to the Philadelphia DA’s office, updating a bill that would create term limits for officials such as Krasner, and a bill that will extend the capability for AG Josh Shapiro to step in and take control of prosecutions in the city.
