Full Hour | In today’s third hour, Peter Rex, CEO of Rex Teams, a tech and real-estate firm, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a piece he penned for the Wall Street Journal telling of the hostility in Silicon Valley toward those who hold religious beliefs. In the piece, Rex writes of the HBO show Silicon Valley, and draws comparisons to its real life counterpart, particularly a scene in which a co-worker is ‘outed’ not for being gay, but for being religious. Rex tells that this underlying notion is indeed a reality in Silicon Valley, telling that there’s a prevalence of a lack of faith and an idea of hubris that they are too smart for belief.

Then, Beth Ann Rosica, executive director of Back to School PA PAC, returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss multiple issues playing out on the micro-local scale at school board meetings throughout Pennsylvania. First, Giordano and Rosica discuss the decision by Conestoga officials to call an emergency virtual day over ‘threatening statements’ concerning masking, after students in the Tredyffrin/Easttown school walked out to protest overbearing masking mandates. Then, Giordano and Rosica discuss a situation playing out in Chester County, with parents filing a petition to recall board members after continued frustration over baseless mandates.
