Full Hour | In today’s final hour, attorney Bruce Afran representing FreeNJKids returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the news that Governor Phil Murphy will be lifting the mask mandate beginning on March 7th. First, Giordano asks Afran for his overall thoughts on the change of tone, with Bruce explaining that it’s a little too little too late, asking why we still have to wait until early March to end the damage being done on children. Afran tells whether he plans to fight the new masking edicts, and offers his opinion on a situation playing out in Perkiomen over the constitutionality of their mask mandate.

Then, Chief Anthony Paparo of Yeadon, PA, returns to the Dom Giordano Program for an update on a situation featured last week on the show. Last week, it was revealed in the DelCo Times that Paparo’s job was in jeopardy over his race, for the sole reason of being white. Paparo told last time that he discovered this after one of his very trusted deputies approached him with the news after being offered to succeed him in the position. This time, Paparo reveals that after a meeting today with the Mayor and Council President, the chief antagonist in the situation, he learned that his job was indeed in jeopardy. In the meeting, Paparo was told he would be let go and was offered severance, telling the justification centers on his need to pay officers overtime during the George Floyd riots. In an incredibly emotional interview, Paparo tells the people of Yeadon how much they mean to him, and tells why he loves the profession of policing so much. (Photo by Eduardo Munoz Alvarez/Getty Images)
