Full Hour | To lead off today’s second hour, Jay Cameron, Litigation Director at the Justice Centre for Constitution Freedoms, the organization representing Canada’s ‘Freedom Convoy’, joins the show to take us inside the convoy making international news. First, Giordano asks for an overall update as to where things stand, with Cameron telling Dom of initiatives by the Canadian government to combat the constitutionally-legal protest. Then, Giordano asks Cameron to discuss what those who support the protest face, to which Cameron explains how many industries are tied in with the Canadian government in dealing out damage to protestors. After that, Cameron solidifies what it is that the truckers are protesting, with the attorney explaining that it isn’t only vaccine mandates, but also economic closures and classism.

In addition, Giordano plays back a clip from Democratic Senator Jon Tester, who alleged that the Democratic brand is ‘toxic’ because Democrats don’t show up for rural voters. Dom takes umbrage with this suggestion, noting that it isn’t the messaging but the policies that turn off the majority of rural voters. Giordano then takes callers to hear what they believe is wrong with the Democratic Party.
