To lead off today’s second hour, Dom welcomes Beth Ann Rosica back to the Dom Giordano Program. Beth Ann, the Executive Director of Back to School PA, tells of a couple issues around the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania concerning school closings over Coronavirus outbreaks. First, Rosica updates the audience on a story she brought to the table last time she joined the show, telling of an initiative to push back against a Montgomery county edict requiring masking and vaccinations in schools. Then, Rosica reveals an edict set forth by the Philadelphia school district that would require unvaccinated students to remain out of school for at-home school due to their vaccination status and fear over the Omicron variant. Rosica tells about parental response she’s received, venting the frustrations of parents who have students being held out of school, and tells what listeners can do to open in-person schooling for all students. Then, Giordano discusses a decision by Harvard University to no longer account for ACT and SAT scores in their admission process, and tells of claims of cultural appropriation centered on a Bass Pro Shop hat.

In addition, media critic Neal Zoren returns to the Dom Giordano Program for his biweekly check-in to discuss topics centered in the world of television and film. First, spurning off a conversation between Dom and Dan, Zoren offers his thoughts on Condoleezza Rice and tells why he believes ‘the View’ causes viewers to lose brain cells. Giordano and Zoren continue on with a conversation about ‘the View,’ offering their diagnosis for what’s so wrong and detrimental about the daytime television show. Also, Zoren reveals the release date for the next season of Ozark, and both Dom and Neal offer why they love the Netflix series so much. (Photo by Getty Images)
