In the new initiative, lawmakers hope to provide a pathway for every student to be able to take calculus or higher math by the end of high school, if they choose. By ‘providing these pathways,’ lawmakers have eliminated the necessity for advanced math courses leading to the aforementioned 12th grade advanced courses.
