Dr. David Damsker, director of the Bucks County Health Department, returns to the Dom Giordano Program to explain why he believes the new CDC mandates regarding masks set forth yesterday don’t push far enough. In a press conference yesterday, President Biden announced that masks are no longer required for outdoor activities if the person has been vaccinated. In an interview with WPHT sister station KYW, Damsker told reporter Jim Melwert that he thinks the CDC should’ve pushed a bit further, giving vaccinated folks the opportunity to go mask-less indoors, in efforts to further incentivize people to get the vaccine. Then, Dr. Damsker discusses guidelines that Bucks County has set forth for High School proms as the school year wraps up. Finally, Damsker updates the audience on the Bucks County vaccine rollout, explaining that very soon he expects cases to drop and 12-15 year olds to gain eligibility. (Photo by Getty Images)
