Lea Hamner is the lead of Communicable Disease & Epidemiology of Skagit County Public Health, in Skagit County, Washington.


Lea leads a team of communicable disease investigators, nurses, epidemiologists, and community health workers to reduce rates of over 75 notifiable diseases. She and her team develop a surveillance system to establish reliable reporting, collection, analysis, and intervention to save lives in Skagit County.
