Katie’s one of the first writer entrepreneurs, with courses for writers including How to Create Your Author Platform (and Market Your Books without Being Pushy), Video Idiot Boot Camp, and others.
She holds live (virtual) group coaching sessions called Crank It Up with Katie!, teaching non-techy writers and small biz people how to market themselves in non-pushy ways. Her podcast, Brain Burps About Books, is tops in many categories in iTunes (such as #1, Children’s Publishing, #2 in Book Marketing, #7 in Publishing- a huge category). She’s appeared regularly on Good Morning, CT, and blogs for The Huffington Post. She’s taught and shared her experiences everywhere from classes at a maximum security prison to keynotes at fundraising galas.
