Perfectionism is an entrepreneur’s worst enemy. Striving for perfection drives people to achieve remarkable feats, but putting so much pressure on yourself to achieve a flawless level of excellence can also keep you from succeeding. I know many people out there who have created something remarkable, but they're scared to launch it because it's not perfect.

You’re essentially taking risks as an entrepreneur, and so inherent in that is the idea that your product, service, or idea will not be perfect. With that comes an understanding that you will make mistakes along the way, but you're willing to improve every step of the way.

Entrepreneurship and perfectionism are basically on opposing ends of the spectrum. If you believe that you can't do something until it's perfect, you're going to have a difficult time in business. There’s no such thing as being perfect in entrepreneurship— it’s an ongoing process, a learning experience. Get out there, get feedback and develop as you go along.
