There are days when things just don’t go your way and you start to feel frustrated and angry. When you have these negative emotions brimming inside you, you’ll notice the rest of your day gets affected. Something that I’ve been working on personally is learning how to shift gears from negative thoughts to positive thoughts whenever I come face to face with a bad situation. It’s easier said than done and I’m not perfect at it, but my wife @Blakemmorgan has been great at reminding me to always look at the positive side.

I share with you some quick tips for you to start to implement in shifting from negative self-talk to positive self-talk. When you’re having negative thoughts or facing a negative scenario, remember to:

🙋‍♂️ Imagine what the older, wiser version of yourself will tell you.
💁‍♂️ Lean into that negativity and find out its root cause.
🤷‍♂️ Think of one to three positive thoughts, or things you are grateful for.

Negativity can only go far if you let it get inside your head. Learn to control your thoughts and emotions and always focus on the bright side of things.
