A comlink chimed, Yoda opened his eyes in the darkness. “Yes, Master Kenobi?” “We’re landing now. Are you in position?” “I am.” A moment of silence. “Master Yoda … if we don’t see each other again—” “Think not of after, Obi-Wan. Always now, even eternity will be.” Another moment of silence. Longer. “May the Force be with you.” “It is. And may the Force be with you, young Obi-Wan.” The transmission ended. Yoda rose.
Stover, Matthew. Revenge of the Sith: Star Wars: Episode III This dialogue from the novel (signed off by George Lucas for the book) is a really nice bit. I find it really echoes what Qui-Gon Jinn lived by and how Obi-Wan showed, in my opinion, fear in this moment. He didn't show the same emotions when fighting anyone else, except for Anakin, and Yoda vs Palpatine.
Let's talk about the quote. Only a few more days until The Book of Boba Fett drops. I hope you are all ready!
