Next, we move on and talk about how he transitioned to the broadcast booth and the inspiration of broadcasters and even Larry King that inspired him and develop the skills that have helped him be successful on TV today.  

We then move on to a discussion about being diagnosed with prostate cancer while working for St John's University and the preparation beforehand with recruiting and giving his assistant coaches a chance to be successful during his absence.  He also notes how his father was an important support figure that helped him through the most difficult stage of his life.  

We finish up the episode on a lighter note talking golf tournaments, and for some reason, Kate asks another animal-type question to which Steve gave the most well thought out answer we've ever seen to one of Kate's off-the-wall questions.
