Trauma can absolutely be healed. In Spiritual Psychology, trauma is caused by the splitting or shattering of the self in an attempt to manage an overwhelming event or long term distress and not go crazy. From this perspective, trauma is actually a brilliant coping mechanism. Like a breaker switch trips to keep the house from burning down when there is an energy overload, the psyche can be reset and restored to power using the soul retrieval process.

Change is difficult and there is a natural healing process that calls us to grow and evolve if we can submit ourselves to it in a healthy way. The natural grief process can apply to all life changes. The problem is that it is easy to get stuck and we may need help to move through difficulty and heal properly. The good news is that help is available if we are willing to receive it.
