Listen to our first Taboo Topic as our guest will share the story of her miscarriage 4.5 years ago. Dolores shares her excitement of getting pregnant after 10 years and suffering a loss early in her pregnancy. We discuss how important support is as the doctors giving the news often don't handle it well. She discusses things people (including medical staff) said to her that made her feel worse. We also discuss some ways you can move forward while grieving a loss as well as tips for people supporting a family member or friend.

Dolores Gonzalez is a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker who currently works as a Psychiatric Social Worker in Los Angeles County. She has worked in numerous facilities with underprivileged/underserved populations. Dolores enjoys helping other mental health professionals improve their clinical skills.
