Matt is the founder of AddictionUnscripted.com (prev The Real Edition), a publishing platform on all things addiction and recovery. He is also an outspoken advocate for finding new forms of treatment beyond that of 12-step based programs. Matt is also open about his occasional drinking—which some seem to have a problem with.

Matt is the creator and co-host of the just-launched @addiction-unscripted podcast.
