*בראשון בארבעה עשר יום לחודש ערב תאכלו מצות וגו * ( בא יב, יח)

What is meaning of the 4 steps we do with the MIDDLE Matza - the LEVI?

A) The matzah starts off *perfectly whole*.

B) Yachatz - the middle matzah is broken into a *large* and *small* piece.

C) The smaller half is *revealed* throughout the recitation of the Haggadah, and is eaten. The bigger half is *hidden* (צפון) until the Afikoman.

D) At the end of the Seder, the *larger*, hidden piece is *revealed* and eaten for Afikoman

מהו הטעם ותוכן הענין של *הארבעה* פרטים שעושים - בהסדר ליל פסח - עם *המצה האמצעית - הלוי*?

א) מתחלה הוא *שלם* - בשלימות.

ב) עושים *יחץ* - חלק *קטן* וחלק *גדול*

ג) חלק הקטן *מגולה* - מניחים על השולחן (הקערה) ואומרים עליו ההגדה, וחלק הגדול *מצניעין* אותו - אפיקומן.

ד) *בסוף* הסדר מגלים חלק *הגדול* - האפיקומן, ואוכלים אותו.
