As has been mentioned on the podcast before, we are officially in the business end of the season. When the going gets tough, the tough get up and leave, and that means Greig and Krys. Greig is off helping Ian Baraclough with his homework prior to the play off final, and Krys is dropped for his recent lack of stats. Hopefully both will return next week. That means it’s John and Craig to talk you through the last week of Scottish fitba and to look ahead to the upcoming games. Tennent’s and Brahma are on the menu. If you ever need anyone to hype up a product, or event, John is your man. The way he bigs up the upcoming podcast is priceless.

Rangers squeezed past Hibs in the Premiership play off semi final. The first leg was 2-0 at Ibrox, which was enjoyable for Craig, apart from the bizarre road closures that followed. The second leg may have been a good watch, but Craig has no idea due to watching a pop concert, followed by a little Snoop Dogg. It was this point that John disappeared from the podcast temporarily. Cummings scored the first goal, so that aspect of the charity bet won. Another £50 into the pot. Don’t ask about the other bet.

Next up for Rangers is Motherwell, with both sides going into the game with differing form. Craig says that Rangers will win the first leg and struggle in the second. That’s that decided then. No need to play the games.

With Celtic sealing their league campaign with an emphatic win over Inverness, Craig takes leave of his senses and talks up Ronnie Deila. Despite his season ticket at Ibrox being under threat, there are certainly some compliments for the Celtic boss in there.

It’s the Scottish Cup final this weekend, between Inverness and Falkirk. Don’t worry, John has some stats up his sleeve. Craig might be going to the game, but only if he gets a student ticket.

The charity bet this week is a little different. It’s Nicky Clark to score first on Thursday (not Sunday’s game). The other bet is BTTS in both the cup final and the play off second leg. Once again, we highly recommend signing up for a McBookie account. They are the good guys. If you are signing up to them, why not checkout accanation.com for some tips.

Thank you, once again, to McBookie for donating the charity bet stake.
