Julian’s Dark Skies - a podcast by KPBS

The town of Julian is now the second in the state to receive recognition as an official Dark Sky Community. The town worked for the honor by reducing outdoor light pollution. Meanwhile, as the pandemic world shifted schools and shopping and everything else online, San Diego’s Refugee population, with limited access to the internet, were left in a tight spot. Plus, a skin condition that’s common among black men is resulting in charges of discrimination in the military.
