After 10 years of being an Account Executive, Chef Bernadette longed for a more fulfilling career. She wasn’t sure of what she wanted to do in life, but while going through the transition, she was able to invest time in preparing home cooked meals for her family. It was after cooking her first large Thanksgiving feast that she discovered the pleasure she received from people enjoying her food.  She started watching cooking shows and reading cookbooks in search of different options to serve and learned that there were actual techniques to cooking. She began to study the art of cooking and developed a respect for properly prepared dishes. Her curiosity led her to culinary school where her passion for cooking was ignited and she knew this was the career path meant for her.  Chef Bernadette graduated with honors from Columbus Culinary Institute at Bradford in Columbus, OH.

She is ServSafe Certified and is a member of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA).  She has won 3 silver medal awards in ACF sanctioned culinary competitions, including a first place state championship.   Chef Bernadette has worked closely and assisted incredibly seasoned chefs in serving high profile clientele such as former President Bill Clinton, Prime Minister Tony Blair, and former President George W. Bush.  Throughout her career she has also been mentored by 2 Certified Master Chefs of which there are only 67 in the entire country.  Her goal is to take humble ingredients and elevate them to gourmet levels,
