One thing I’ve heard from clients frequently is how they often don’t wear pieces in their closet because they don’t have anywhere to wear them.

WHAT? Why buy something if you are only going to wear it once?

So, if you find yourself in this spot, here’s 5 tips to help you get over that rut:

  1. Ask yourself, what makes you think you aren’t worthy of being special and wearing this ANYDAY? This could unpack a lot, but I do think this is worth journaling on. Anytime we wear something we deem special, our energy is instantly shifted into a higher vibration that allows us to step into a beautiful place with our confidence and body-image. We’re communicating through our style that we are worthy. That we deserve to cloth our body in beautiful things during the day. Even if you’re sitting at home or running groceries. Of course you get to make yourself feel beautiful.
  2. What would your next level woman do? If you think about your future woman – the one who’s achieved her goals, made her millions, etc. How does she dress? What wold she embody in her style? Would she wear she special pieces? Of course. She knows it wold probably make her feel powerful, confident, and allow her to move in action with more confidence through her day. It’s good to check-in and ask how your highest and best self would do things.
  3. Adding “Special pieces” can realy elevate your image! As an example, let’s say you have a more evening piece. Silk blouse, glittering accessory. Adding that to even the most casual items instantly makes your outfit look cool. It looks more purposeful – and interesting because you are mixing levels of dress and mixing textures. Love it!
  4. IF you don’t wear it, you may no longer be interested in it by the time comes. Style represents who we are. Often, the reason we no longer like items in our closets is because we’ve evolved past them. They no longer represent who we are. So, with that in mind, if you hold onto a special piece for a long period of time without wear, you may NOT be interested in it when the time does come --- and then you’ll be in the same cycle as before. You’ll buy something special for the occasion you have – only to store it and repeat the same thing as last time. Sound familiar?
