A Silent Voice is a powerful movie about a young deaf girl that begins to attend a new school. The other students begin to ruthlessly bully her to the point of her leaving the school. Her main bully becomes the focal point of the series as he is demonized by the other students and fall into a sense of worthlessness and wants to commit suicide. As the movie progresses he reconnects with her and the deeper reasons of the bullying begin to surface. Friends become enemies and enemies become friends as the movie unwinds to culminate into a beautiful, thought provoking, tale of community and who we are as made in the image of God.
