Day 25. My favourite day in the Omer. Understanding what it means to be perfectly balanced, requires a study of the the foremost of our leaders, Moshe. He led the people tirelessly until the day he died.

He tried to emulate G-d in every way possible - as the closest a human being could get to being Divine, he expresses that halfway point - Netzach shebeNetzach - perfectly. He used the 13 principles of Mercy to save the Jewish people. And he is the perfect role model for all prophets - before and after.

How ironic that the kinyan Torah on day 25, therefore - is Sameach Bechelko - being happy with your portion...the one thing that he did not get, was a portion in the land of Israel. But he accepts that too, stopping short of praying the final prayer which would have gotten him in. He was halfway there...

This is the nature of the man - who just seems so much more than that. Which indeed, as G-d's mouthpiece, he was.
