Ian Taylor is an adventurer, Everest summiteer, expedition leader, entrepreneur and founder of Ian Taylor Trekking.  In 2008 Ian Taylor became the youngest Irishman to climb to the top of the world and upon doing so raised €100,000 to build the Mt. Everest primary school in Uganda with Irish charity Fields of Life. Ian found his purpose and set out on building his own trekking company helping people achieve their goals of climbing to some of the world's highest mountain ranges. He has over 20 years expedition experience, led over 150 treks and has climbed Kilimanjaro 37 times with the goal to summit Kilimanjaro 50 times!

Food for thought:

  • The importance of acclimatisation and physical preparation
  • Stepping out of your comfort zone
