What’s the difference between strategy and tactics? Actually, quite a lot, and many people are selling tactics in the guise of strategy. Even if you follow what they're selling to the smallest detail, a bad strategy is still a lousy strategy no matter how well it is executed. If you continually use poor strategy when it comes to your coaching practice, you will lose. As coaches, we often meet with clients and immediately start thinking about the techniques we can use to help them. But, if you don’t have a destination and strategy on how to get there, it’s not going to be helpful to the client long-term.

Today, I share why coaches often focus on their tactics and techniques rather than on strategy. I reveal why it is so important to have an overall strategy in mind regarding clients and your coaching practice. I highlight the difference between tactics and strategy and why you need to choose your destination first before starting on a coaching journey with a prospect. I also share how you can apply strategies to your client sessions and develop successful strategies for your coaching business.
