Season 1 Episode 1: Caladan - a podcast by Nerd I Say More?

Join nerd power couple Alex and Elayne as we take a chapter-by-chapter dive into the classic sci-fi Dune series by Frank Herbert. Elayne is a prolific sci-fi/fantasy reader who has somehow let this classic series slip by, while Alex is diving into his second read and will be our resident “expert”.

In this episode, we introduce ourselves and our plan for this podcast and take a look at the first three chapters of Dune, in which an old lady gets her creep on, a teenager gets tortured, campy supervillains gloat about their evil plans, and our main character Paul learns he might be the mysterious chosen one of a ladies-only cult who breed humans like prize racehorses. Or he might die. No pressure, right?
