Recently, I went mountain biking with some friends… and it wasn’t long before I fell to the (wayyyy) back of the group.

Immediately, I tried to keep up as sneaky thoughts of “geeze, why are you so slow get moving!” started passing through my head.

It wasn’t too long after I started pushing that my excitement for biking that day was replaced with frustration.

And that's when it hit me: Wait, why do I have to go fast?! Whose expectations are these?

^ This kind of situation can happen SO quickly if we aren’t paying attention.

Where our experience can quickly be taken over by expectations and pressures that have no business being there.

SO on today's episode I wanted to talk about expectations and share a few tips on how to recognize and remove them so you can ENJOY your moment more fully.
